Project type
Services
Date
April 2026
Place
Sant'Ilario d'Enza (RE)
Role
Collaboration with Architect Roberto Borlenghi
The project involves the conversion of an existing historic building of approximately 4,000 m², originally intended for residential use, into a modern Residential Health Care Facility (RSA), designed to ensure comfort, functionality, and a high-quality stay for residents. The layout is divided into two distinct blocks, connected by an entrance veranda on the ground floor, which houses all the main common services, including rooms for recreation, television, reading, and conversation, a cafeteria, and personal services. The basement houses the clinics for medical examinations and checkups, as well as storage and warehouses for meals and materials needed to run the facility. The first, second, and third floors (attic) are designated for residential areas and accommodate a total of 36 single rooms, 12 per floor, all with private bathrooms, to ensure maximum comfort, privacy, and independence for residents.
